If they would all deny there would be safety but there seems to be no plan. My neighbors in Nh still confirming every nom. Peter Welch (VT, my state) voted to move ahead with a climate denying nom for agriculture.
This is a good question. The president has the highest disapproval rate of any president at this stage of a term—by far (or so I recall seeing). So what is the actual electoral backlash they fear by voting no?
I’m not sure 100% would be the right level. But it just feels like it should be higher than it is, given the extreme or simply incompetent (or both) nature of so many of these nominees.

All the Dems have done over the last 40 years is compromise with the right, and never fighting for ANYTHING.
When you've never fought FOR anything, I guess you just don't know HOW to fight when you NEED to fight.
