I don't want public transport without staff. I don't want to order food through an app in a restaurant. I don't wish to go to supermarkets without cashiers. Regardless of how promising the convenience of a life run by Artificial Intelligence sounds.

Just parked in a garage that has a QR code, to download an app, for which I had to make an account, and unsubscribe from a newsletter, just to pay for my parking
The promise of AI is that it can be that agent. It’s not just a chain of if/else statements
Luckily, the AI market is so large, that new architectures are coming online every day that show leaps and bounds in capability for much less energy and data
Human contact should not be dependent on work.
Why would u force ppl to take jobs they don’t want under the threat of poverty? Just bc you want to see a forced smile?
Hundreds of years ago, young ppl (actually just men 😋) were expected to travel the world for such experiences
The prole equivalent might be Peace Corps, Teach For America... except, oops, those are defunded now.
I want to be able to pack my groceries carefully into the sturdy bags with handles and insulated bags that I bring along.
I want excellent customer service.
That's all too rare even at "posh" markets.
