I would remind you, Nick, that this “hoary old voice of sanity’s” Tory policies made the lives of artists and low income folks throughout Britain an utter misery. Now like Reagan he is re imagined as something wonderful rather than the catalyst for the mess we now find ourselves in.

Unlikely, due the fact that the Tory Party have leaned so far to the right now that Major wouldnt stand a chance. To be honest imo, the Tories in their current form are so hardline rightwing, they could merge with Reform UK and no one would notice.
