I haven't used MS Office since 2003, so LibreOffice is the way office software should look for me.
Though I rarely use office software anyway.
Mostly Google docs when working with others.
Plain TXT in notepad++ is my preffered way to write documents for my projects.
The drop-shadow on the menu is very 2003.
But otherwise I don't mind... there's a lot more hard edges and fewer rounded edges... but to be honest, it makes it easier to read the icons, when icons become too rounded you wonder if you are looking at a page icon or a cabbage
The theme thing is a huge deal for me too. MS and Mac are just too bright. Great in stores, and browsing for short periods. But to work on for 8-12 hours a day...
Nightmare.

I had been using GDocs for so long that it was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning but now I just can't think going back to web docs.
At least my personal docs. Work stuff still in the cloud.

Very retro.
