It's really quite sad how genAI seems to have seized roleplayers by the throats. Every other guild or event listing includes AI images, chatGPT written character profiles with generated contents... For a hobby based on creativity, a lot of people seem willing to ditch it as soon as they can π€§

Like THINK for two seconds?!
Stuff like C.AI and other generative roleplay content has made people totally unwilling and/or unable to interact with actual people anymore. It's sad.

99% of them should link directly to artists pages, DeviantArt, or ArtStation, as well.
I don't repin art unless it links to an artists' page either. I have a whole private board full of art that I occasionally reverse search to find the artist.
Aren't you here to be creative? In writing?
I'm sure some let even their ingame rp be written by AI and just strg+v it.
Or getting the best result
Even had someone with the gall to make an genAI thing of my character and theirs without my permission (not that I'd ever give it), kinda stopped doing stuff wtih em after that
At this point I avoid Rpers with AI images/profiles like the plague
Talking about some "do you trust me?"
Hell the f no after finding out they were gonna kill a tree to make slop with MY face. Thank Satan I didn't send a selfie. Fuck, guys.
Bring back cringe shaming for this.
It ended up pushing me to pay an artist for art (for went some other things to make it happen) just to get the bad taste out of my mouth
If you use it for 100% of your RP toons about, then you're just lazy.
If you use the AI to write a script, then adjust it to fit better with your character, I say its fair game.
I'm not a full RPer tho, its fun on the side.
Currently LLMs are only built on theft. So using it for a script is a) lazy as fuck. b) benefitting from theft. So, no. Not fair game.
No, it isn't.
No other tool relies entirely on stolen content just to function.
Folks feel so entitled to others hard work and I hate it
Some people think having an idea is the only thing that makes someone creative, and not the labour it takes to fulfil them
