And don't forget, they'd remaster the game, despite:
-The remaster being released on the same platform it originally released
-Barely two or three years later
-No significant changes having been made
-Graphics look the fucking same
-10 bucks price increase for no good reason
pros: chance of Bloodborne on PC increases by 0.06%
cons: everything else and then some
god I hope it doesn’t go through, I’d rather not see ‘em be forced to push out shit like the remake of the remaster of the retexture of the redecoration of Dark Souls and get fully burnt out on making games
FromSoft went on record saying they're done with elden ring and erdtree is the last dlc. Sony would be more inclined to say "pump something out" and disregard the art form. Or chop it up and sell it in bits. Sony is public and beholdent to shareholders, FromSoft is not
I feel like that’s a lot of leaps in logic. They’ve been pretty hands off in the more recent acquisitions, just look at bungie. The 2 remasters that have come out lately have just been putting the older games on the updated engines for consistency
I outlined the of an organization akin to A, the public company which is legally required to increase the stock price, and B, a private company which can prioritize its art, and C the outcome if B becomes A. An example is how Sony required helldivers to have PSN accounts, to up their MAU
I fail to see the leap in logic. If you were to say I have a pessimistic view that would make more sense. I’d prefer to avoid the stove than try to find out if its hot or not. It’s human nature to minimize risk. I’m just saying let’s not even try it, I hate bad business practices

It just works.
It would piss off the fan base so much and would create a power vacuum in the souls-like genre on PC.
Like do you remember the COVID era of souls-like games? Like that but again and possibly better or worse.
