Striking drop in health and care visas in 2024, as was the intention of various policy shifts - one of the reasons overall migration will likely be quite a bit lower this year than in the previous one.

Immigration is already down significantly in the second half of 2024, compared to the July 2023 - June 2024 figure of net 720k & net 900k peak for 2023. This is work visas in Q1-Q3 2024 v 2023, but Q4 2024 will reflect the drop (MAC)
