I'm with you. For years now I've gravitated towards him because of his knowledge, likeability and crucially his work on standing up for all us by taking on the big issues to the big people in power.

His voice is our voice, he's inspiring that doesn't exist at all these days.

Zack is obviously passionate confident and energetic. Also whether you like it or not ppl are drawn to a "strong leader". I think he'd make an fa effort for the party.

Each of these has a prominent personal brand. It doesn't mean that are good leaders but it doesn't mean they need to be bad either. You may not like the individual but if the result is more power 4 a party with good policies. Worth it imo

Trump is charismatic, has rural and suburban appeal. Some people skip from one party to another like Truss, Libdems to Tory, and backs Reform. A desperate attempt at gaining power. Would it be better that the leader of the Green party is an MP and accountable in Parliament?

I'm not sure that party leader as MP works well in the labour party. There is a tremendous disconnect between them. Also an MP is accountable to their local constituency where as a party leader is answerable to the party. Can you really be answerable to two masters.

Surely the leader of a party should represent his party in parliament, and by default in the interests of the MPs constituents.

An issue maybe advantageous or disadvantageous to a constituency but at odds to the party plans. For example transport or building development. The MPs job could be to try to influence the party leader. If not on the policy as a whole then in detail such as route A rather than route B
