5 seconds should be the standard for that sort of penalty. 10 second stop and go was just silly. That should be for endangering other drivers. If they flew the VCS non of the stupidity would have happened today such as this incident and Sainz and Hamilton having their races ruined!

Yep! Sainz had debris up under his car. It was nuts. But they’ve been trying to use safety cars to get specific outcomes the last few months imo

Punctures were not caused by the debris, it was tire deg from running the mediums too long.

This is correct, also because a bit of lifting on the straight is really just a token gesture of safety. Cars still going really quick around the area of the yellow flag. #F1 #QatarGP
