Nicolle Wallace, “As Tim Snyder author of On Tyranny puts it, quote, taken together, Trump's candidates constitute an attempt to wreck the American government.”

I think Prof. Tim Snyder in "Why is fascism bad" really hits the point. Fascism is about living in someone else's story, that's built around a great lie like "I won the election and it was stolen from me". And in the end it will betray you.
I hate to claim first place, but as soon as trump nominated Gaetz,it was clear to me that trump not only wants to destroy everything that makes America great, trump wants to rub it into the very soul of our democracy! 🧌
Tim Snyder just coined a term. He says that not only are Trump's cabinet picks just unqualified, they are "anti-qualifed" - meaning qualified to do exactly the opposite of what they are appointed to do. Think about it - it makes sense.
We will become like Russia. Giant inequality - the rich being hedonist consumers from hell - and the rest dreary and cynical. No innovation or sparks of creativity come from there anymore. Being very rich or very poor destroys the spirit.
Yeah well Nicole was front and center in the “Biden is old!” group while the rest of us yelled, “Never forfeit the incumbency advantage” & “He’s the only person who has beaten Trump!” I so much wanted to be wrong. I don’t care what she has to say now.
My take is that all these ineffective heads cause the systems they lead fall apart.
The economy falls to ground zero and then they plan to rebuild it in the way that suits them best.
This sounds like Steve Bannon to me.
By the time that happens, it will be too late to move things back to the middle. People seem very resistant to the idea that they could be informed voters...
