When I was in primary school, I ran a school fete table where I set up my Amstrad cpc464 and just let kids play Gryzor (Contra) for 20p a life. My stall made more money than any other, and thus my videogame career started.

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

Of all the things that Trump has done the one that has affected me the most is how he has treated Zelensky and the people of Ukraine. I only hope this is a game or a deal on Trump's part that will bring peace and respect for Ukraine. But somehow I doubt it.

I learned years ago, after having some very challenging days that really affected how I interacted with people, that you never know what kind of really challenging day someone you’re interacting with is having. It doesn’t excuse everything, but remembering that might help us do a little bit better.

For you.

I follow French politics a lot, as many of you know. Any effort for mass layoffs of public sector employees there would create such huge strikes and marches, the level of disruption and paralysis would be biblical.
