I haven't seen the film yet, but coincidentally I watched a press interview with Edward Norton yesterday, and they talked about Toshi's presence in the film. Enjoyed reading your Substack article of how it was such a missed opportunity.

My husband is a Dylan fan (me not so much), so we went to see it. It is entertaining, and Chalamet lives up to the hype. But the depiction of women generally could have been much more ... dimensional.
