I saw the first and last shows of the last tour, my 8th and 9th times seeing them (the first was in 1991). Every tour is different and you never know what you’ll get. I am willing to bet you won’t be disappointed unless you don’t go.

We saw them at Riot Fest a couple years ago. I remember my thought was “you can tell the frontman is a sound engineer when the sound at a huge outdoor venue sounds album-perfect”

Saw them twice. First time was with Jane's Addiction, got there early, had never heard of the opening band. Turns out Tom F'ing Morello was in that band, Street Sweeper Social Club. Needless to say that was the best show I ever went to.

The rule is to make money. Root Fest has been hurting since the pandemic. They are going to get who ever will draw sales. I think Alkaline Trio was teased as a headliner.

They’re awesome live. Last time I saw them was back in 2013. Not sure if I can justify going this time though. My wife looked it up on stub hub and the cheapest tix are almost $300. We’ll see though, they’re one of a few bands I would pay that much to see.

Chemlab is a great show!! I missed stuff like nine inch nails and rage against the machine in favor of stuff like KMFDM, the dwarves, combichrist, skinny puppy etc. I thought I was too cool for mainstream music, lol.

To be fair, the concerts I was going to in my late teens and early 20s weren't typically mainstream. Pretty Hate Machine didn't do much outside of the techno / industrial base initially. Both of those shows were at The Boathouse in Norfolk, VA, which was not a large venue

Sadly,I was too young to be going to shows during that era. I was only 13 when the fragile came out- the only release I was consciously aware of was “with teeth”, which I originally blew off because their first single from it was too pop sounding (it’s now my fave album)
