I've noticed that although I'm still getting reskeets and hearts, there has been a lot less interaction (which was one of my favorite parts about here, the peopling). Maybe say hi to someone today. A little "slow(er) social media". ππ

I'm getting a lot less of all the above. Although probably people muting me I suspect. π€·ββοΈ I'd rather people unfollowed than muted me, honestly. Then I'd know who's actually interested in what I have to say.
I realized yesterday or so that all I have been doing lately is reskeeting or liking. My brain has been to overloaded to make words. It is kinda reassuring to learn it isn't just me.
Yeah- trying to find to new coping mechanisms since the whole *everything* just keeps ramping up into new levels of unbelievability.
I typed up a short slideshow using the 20 lessons from On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder - gonna start each class with one slide on the screen before starting class
This is my first-ever social media account*. I joined because of the βreal peopleβ vibe you describe. Thank you for posting. You give me hope for humanity, one post at a time.
*Iβve never spent a cent at WhaleMort either. Some kind of historical anomaly, me.
The timeline is such a torrent of things since Jan20, I have to go fast if I'm to catch up in a reasonable time⦠But thinking of you from the other side of the ocean, and wishing things go well for your family too! ó_ò
Hi! I suspect we're all having ebbs and flows of energy for interaction. I left my phone home yesterday when I went for a walk with Andy and it was the most relaxed I've felt in weeks.
