I understand that completely. I’m hardly the initiator when it comes to friendships, even online. It’s less difficult than IRL for sure.

Agreed. Nobody really talks about how difficult it is to make friends as an adult, but it's seriously tough. I moved from my home state years ago and only really have one IRL friend from college still around. Motivation to go out and meet people is low for everyone after work each day.

I agree. It’s really tough to make friends nowadays, though it has always been tough for me.
Though I’ve noticed how much harder it is to socialize nowadays
