Mine was an old persons so its in a mess. I need help cutting hedges back etc. but I managed to make some beds for flowers and sewed seeds so we'll see. Its very random but the wild things approve. 🤞Some veg too. If I get flowers will post a pic in summer. Nature thrives if we let it 🌞🌿

I’ve been chaos gardening for years. I started with herbs, all flavors of mints, thymes, sage, lavender…etc. Easy to grow perennials, and can be rooted easily for new plants. It builds confidence I think. This year, I started seeds in freezer bags outside for veggies, works great. Good luck to you.

We accidentally grew watermelons and sunflowers... I used to have a green thumb, but have resigned myself to my new status as 'death druid.' Last plant I killed was rosemary... I thought that would be an easy one to keep alive.

I garden indoors in hydroponic units all year long. I have cherry tomatoes, leaf lettuce, green and yellow bell peppers, and poblano peppers growing right now.

I have an efficient solar system and send more power to the grid than I use at night. I pay the minimum charge monthly.

But, I believe you can go on the Aerogarden website and find the power usage per different unit.

The answer is it depends; on climate of your garden and what you want from your garden.
Ours is a suburban garden with lawn, flower beds and various trees in a temperate climate.
