Inquiring minds (OK, me) want to know: What were the most expensive cars we saw? Thread:

We took 100+ hours of footage of Lexington Ave in Manhattan, capturing some 75,000 vehicles before and after congestion pricing started, and found the drop in vehicles appears to be coming entirely from fewer personal cars. Also no change in avg car value. Congestion pricing is working (for now).

We saw some actual honest to god Chevy Astros (we double-checked to make sure they weren't miscategorized E-Series vans)

It's crazy to me that these are the cars people choose to drive *within Manhattan* which is just an unforgiving space for cars that don't cost $80-$100K.

Looks like a 911 Carerra (no spoiler), probably not coming close to the Bentleys and Rolls Royce. depends on the year but probably under $100k

It's a 991.2, base price of ~$90k at launch but basically zero were delivered without options that pushed it just over $100k.

Keyless entry was an option, but zero people are spending that much on a new car without it.
