Everything Paulo Coelho. Although I might be biased because I saw the husband reading one of it, and half through it I realized he had been cheating me for a year and a half.
i read ACOTAR back in 2017 before all the hype and thought it was middling at best and fast forward to it being the series of the decade (popularity wise) ?????
The Cruel Prince. I read that and the sequel (don’t think I’ll read the third) and just don’t get the hype. Everyone is all about Jude and Cardan but I don’t see anything special in their relationship.
I couldn’t get into An Ember in the Ashes 🫣 but I do think I would have liked it if I read it at a younger age. Also- The NameBearer… I know so many people love it but it just was not for me :(
Same! I read one and thought I liked it at first, but the more I thought about it the more I realized how much it uses emotional manipulation on the reader (plus problematic content) and I won’t read any more by her.
