Thank you Bess! Sophie was a gift we almost lost. Hubs took her for shots & told how she came to us. Vet noticed the clipped ear & checked for a chip. She was chipped! Took about 3 weeks to find “owner” but they agreed we should have her as she’d been with us so long. “Whew”. I’d fallen in love 😻

My granddaughter went off to college, leaving her cat here, with her parents and sibling (half the time) and me (the other half). Guess who has been insinuating himself onto the foot of my bed. The worst thing is, the cat uses my place like a warming hut, zipping in and out.
You have a great one. Good foot warmer. And he will protect you while you sleep at night. Always on the lookout for creepy things that might go bump in the dark. Lol
It isn't like she is down in Eugene or up in Seattle. Students from Oregon and Washington can pay what amounts to in-state tuition at the University of Hawaii, so THAT is where she went, shedding herself from cat care.
