Damn. Sonic 3 really did live up to the hype. Super breezy script, TONS of love for Adventure 2, and a climax that’s unreal. There are nitpicks that I have but they’re so minor. Fantastic post-credits sequence too. I can only imagine how wild a theater full of Sonic fans went. - ThreadSky

I went opening night to a theater full exclusively of Sonic turbo-nerds and everybody gasped and "oooooed" at that one line of dialogue you mention in the next post. Screamed and went crazy for the post-credits. Whole 9 yards. It was great.

I loved the movie so damn much. I laughed, I even cried, and for that mid credits scene, I cheered so goddamn hard. An awesome freaking movie and I cannot wait for the next one.

OOOH yeah *THAT* one! That was crazy cuz not only was it a bombshell of a line totally original to the films and pretty much justifies the Gerald change all on its own, but it also ties into a Robotnik character angle that was *only* *just* introduced to the games with Frontiers.

I appreciate how the writers pay tribute and respect to the source material, but aren’t slavishly devoted to it. I would rather have an adaptation change things if they are interesting and elevate the source material.
