What does it take for the moron’s supporters to turn on him? Is the Switch 2 enough? Or are more examples of this asinine plan necessary? Once he’s gone, this country needs to tax the shit out of billionaires to recover the economy.

In a year when literally nobody can afford food and we're in The Great Depression 2 maybe, MAYBE a few of them will realize maybe he's not actually a super stable genius businessman.
Nothing will change their minds and you know it. Not until the entire group dies off in several decades. The damage is done and we will all be worse off for it for generations
Public pressure will build and Congress will be forced to take away Trump’s tariff powers. Not sure how much economic pain will be necessary as the GOP is scared of Trump.
they never turned on him the first time they won't this time. The more people on the inside turn on him the more they will back him to "stick it to the libs" I've just stopped caring about what they think anymore when it bites them in the ass I'll laugh at them for not seeing it coming fuck it
Musk will try to take over (even though he is not born in the US, they will make that happen). Or one of the sons of Trump, or Trump for third term, or Vance etc.
There's a reason the saying "Bread and Circuses" is around; it's an easy way to pacify the populace. Take away both by making them exorbitantly expensive beyond people's means and you'll have a large group of discontents with plenty of time in their hands.
The MAGA heads are just spinning this to "you will own nothing and you will be happy" they lack spineless just the same as the democrats letting him get this far
They need to be hit in the things they have. Pension and social security tax, real estate values, the price of goods and services related to them. They don't care about the Switch 2, they don't care about the people he's hurting, and they don't care about the future because they won't see it anyway.
and then when it happens, they'll say it was the libs fault for it and still follow this same shit. All they care about is hurting the people who don't think and act in their hive minded world it's scary and fucking stupid.
There's a Lydon Johnson quote about racists convincing white trash to vote against their best interests as long as "the other" people get hurt more. Its still true today. People are fucking hateful and stupid. We've all gotta suffer because some people can't get it through their thick skulls.
If they think it's just Nintendo being "woke" or whatever the fuck, they're in for a monstrously rude awakening when Sony is forced to do the exact same thing because they absolutely cannot afford to lose another millimeter of their margins.
I'm thinking of writing a new book, just trying to think of a good subject...
"The orange stain hides in his bunker : what everyone should've learnt from Black Lives Matter"
"Riotting for noobs"
"How to french in one lesson"
"Louis XVI 2 : Guillotine Returns"
I think messing with their hobby in a real, substantial way (rather than the imagined ways they've been complaining about) will do something. Like essentials being more expensive is far worse, but you literally have no choice there.
Making the things that give you joy prohibitively expensive might just put more weight on the scales. Whether that will tip them a lot or a little remains to be seen. It sucks that the rest of us have to suffer through this as well on top of... Well, everything else.
Part of me hopes that this will be some kind of a major turning point. The more things that Americans are denied because of tariffs, the more mad they'll be at Trump. That anger can be very useful if aimed properly.
Bigoted gamers who voted for him won't change their minds because they are willing to be priced out of basic necessities like food just so they don't have to see a black character in their games or an optional gay button.

I used to think there would be a breaking point that would get people to turn on him, but I don’t believe that anymore.
