Thanks for sharing & agree! I have nice merino wool sweaters that were expensive but I love them & don’t mind taking care of them. It’s important to properly launder your garments & even thought it’s sometimes a pain, I like feeling a sense of pride in taking care of my things so that they last.
This is a really good primer, alpaca/merino is in a way better place than it used to be. Also for sweatshirts (vs. sweaters) Camber is agreed upon to be the best.
Camber is great. Kellsport (https://sweatshirtsusa.com) is of similar quality for thick sweatshirts. Plus, they have a charming website. In my opinion, Camber feels slightly fluffier and Kellsport a little tougher but very similar.
I've had my Irish fisherman's sweater since the 20th century. Granted, I live in the South and there are about two days a year I wear it, but it will always be there for me.
A genuine public service. Shared this with the fam, got a thumbs-up from my fashion-conscious college kid. I more enthusiastic review I could not imagine.

I haven't bought one in ages, so I don't know if their quality is still what it once was.
