2/4 Here is a jewel from one of India’s most diverse wetlands. During one of my birdwatching trips to eastern of India, stumbled upon this jewel. I was most captivated by their habitat; the groves were so densely vegetated, visibility was minimal. However, so many species not only survive but thrive

4/4 by the canopy create enough shade for the school of fishes to gather. This provides ample opportunity for the King to hunt. Though early morning, the light was not enough to get my focus right. Had to use one of my torches to light the bird, which enabled my camera to focus,hence the two sources
