😀 I particularly despise it when used in the context of water or wine. Water is not "delicious". It's just water. And wine can be described in many ways. A woman I know describes wine as "yummy", after tast-testing it at a restaurants. I acknowledge that my hatred of this is my problem, not hers.
Fortunately chuckle doesn’t appear often, it’s old and creaky like a Charlie McCarthy doll, ew.

I can sit on my smug Canadian perch and grimace at how Americans hate French so much that they refuse to say niche and foyer correctly - those two really get to me at times.
I don’t listen to many podcasts, but some of the Podcast Playlist samples on CBC have had me questioning whether I knew how to pronounce the word or whether the hosts did not haha
