I feel like a part of the reason why people don't go searching for things to enjoy is because, one, it's difficult to do so in any successful way, and two, because there's not really anything to find.
you can't enjoy, say, Severance, and then go find a fan forum like it's 2003.

but like... it just was this perfect amalgam of the fun social element, but then also a database of great stuff to learn from. Both of those in one made them so great. I miss them
That person who had the same problem as you five years ago asked about it on some discord you'll never find now.
I also miss the searchability of forums. It used to be easy to find stuff, now the top 3 pages of search results are all paid or SEO-hacked to the point of uselessness
