I dont really understand all the fuss, its fine. Im glad we have left back the ugly primitive "realistic" 3d shrek had always went for. Te last wish is the wah to go (and im sad that 5 is not going the extra mile). If anything donkeys hair its the only strange thing i got from the trailer.

I think it's because more and more movies lately have been super mid/underwhelming that people kinda expect it and have developed a cynical outlook even in the quality of the entertainment industry. Marvel & Disney have been flopping, DreamWorks has been huge hit or mediocre miss.

I think people have become more emboldened since the Sonic fiasco. A lot of people see it as a challenge to 'fix' things AND moaning about details gets lots of eyeballs on your posts/videos :(
