1. Yesterday, the Trump admin released a contract laying out more details of the "deferred resignation" offer they are using to encourage federal employees to resign.
The deal is MUCH WORSE than it seemed
Anyone who signs this contract agrees to resign and gets NOTHING guaranteed in return

People have to be smart enough to at least ask a lawyer to look at it. It would be worth the money.
I was wrong. People are signing it.
I know the hassle it would take to bring each of these to court though.
I'm only afraid they will still not learn any lessons. I guess nothing beats racism and bigotry
A)Others are doing it so it must be a good deal.
B)If I don't take the deal I'll probably be fired anyway.
before you leave.
Why am I not surprised?
DeRP.
Probably not an accident.
It states that, by signing the contract, the employee agrees NEVER TO ENFORCE THE CONTRACT IN COURT OR ANY OTHER FORUM.
This makes the contract effectively worthless.
No matter what the government does after you sign, you are powerless.
After the 28th, employees who resign the offer CAN BE REQUIRED BY THEIR AGENCY TO WORTH THROUGH THEIR RESIGNATION DATE
Agencies are not going to allow federal workers to chill at home while food is not being inspected, parks are understaffed etc.
True, the employee could "request" that but the decision to grant it is at the sole discretion of the agency.
No paywalls. No billionaire overlords. No BS.
