211 survivors of the Blücher were sent to Stobs PoW Camp near Hawick, a special train arriving with them on 10 Mar 1915. The became a thorn in the side of the camp authority as some made attempts to escape. One of the first breakouts saw 4 escapees depart on a train for Edinburgh in broad daylight.
