Florida District 1 has the highest percentage of federal workers of any Florida congressional district. It also has 160,000 on Medicaid. Florida has the highest % of people receiving Social Security. Florida is in the path of hurricanes and needs NOAA's Weather Service & FEMA.

The get out the vote effort never tries to win over the gaetz voters. The strategy is to call the registered Democrats in the district. Many of them don't know there is a special election. There is a lot of voter suppression in the known Democratic precincts, we try to help them get their ballot in.
