Quick calculation: if that rate of growth continues, and car sales in total grow only slowly as of late - that would mean that EVs would form the near totality of the global market in the late 2030s. Getting there much sooner in Europe and parts of Asia. Fast enough to make a + climate impact?

If Bezos' attempt to enter the EV industry pans out as they're promoting their new proposed small truck at this low price and can ramp up production at a super-fast rate that should really help a lot in the U.S. market too, but they're mainly just fishing for investment now so to soon to predict.
