Of course I also tried to read the ogham inscription as shown on screen. I made it out as NS DTTDT. I think I should probably defer to the experts 😆

We have so far only seen images of the stone lying on the ground, so my colleagues and I are eagerly awaiting a proper reading of the ogam. I'll reserve my judgement until we have that.

I just asked Katherine about this. Katherine was indeed 𝒶𝓈𝓀𝑒𝒹, but she hasn't actually looked at it since it was raised (she did see it when it was excavated, but wasn't able to get any meaningful reading of it then). At the moment, they are waiting for a stone conservator to look after the....

...stone, but this depends on the community to raise GBP 1000 or something. As soon as this happens, @3dgroovanstones.bsky.social and some colleagues will make photogrammetry of the stone and then we hope to be able come up with a reading at last.
