I know we’re all desensitized to it but can we step back and recognize how insane it is that the president posts describing himself in the third person as a genius chess master who is always ten steps ahead

Trump has just reposted this on his social media platform, Truth Social:
“Trump played both sides like a master chess player. In the end, Zelensky will have no choice but to concede…”

There will be no “deal” or “negotiation” and he knows it.
The deal gives contracts to US companies, who get the money. It'll involve executives in the US only.
How dumb does he think people are? Please Zelensky no deal.

Unfortunately, Trump's base is dumb enough to believe it.
If Russia attacked, does anyone think Trump would care to protect US lives?
And, now he had Europe's stronger backing, which makes more sense. Also, folks know mineral rights are on the table--so a number of powers might step in. He's got options!
Then vote to remove us from the G7
More interesting is, that they can't stop bitching about that deal. Like they *really* want it.
Y'know like an ex-girlfriend ...
Because he wants us to think that he’s 10 steps ahead. And he likes that someone wrote that about him.
The ops are excruciating.
There’s going to be no “minerals deal”, ever. He’s going to help Russia conquer Ukraine and then ally with Russia as the war spreads to Europe, blaming Zelenskyy all the way.
He posted this purely to mitigate the uproar this weekend, temporarily.
If he already had a deal with Putin, something along the lines of, the US will completely back off, so Russia can move further into Ukraine, US gets a cut of the action. Putin could offer this with no intention on giving Trump a cut.
Trump realizes, on some level, Putin could screw him over, and make him look weak and a "loser".
Horrifically, the only way to "avoid" this is to fully, enthusiastically help Putin conquer Ukraine.
Better to look evil and "in control" than to risk looking "weak".
But I have 2 reasons it’s low on my probability list: I don’t think Putin wants any other troops in Russia he does not control, he’ll never trust Americans.
And I think Trump wants to deploy troops here in the United States.
Trump has almost certainly ordered Tulsi Gabbard to find ways to supply intel to the Russians. He'll likely take the heat of China on their supply of the Russian military.
And most importantly, Elon may turn Starlink off in Ukraine--and turn it on in Russia.
Agreed that Trump intends to deploy troops against Americans.
So what do you think the end goal of Starlink is for musk?
And did you hear about a company in Mexico that is going to be a competitor?
"However, as a lifelong practitioner of martial arts, strategy, and philosophy, let me explain the difference between what you believe you witnessed and what actually happened."
And wherever I read it in the first place, it was far-fetched and unrealistic.
2024: The emperor has no marbles.
The worst part is I think the Republicans really love this shit, they don't really care what Trump is saying as long as he's yelling, it's the tone that matters to them, not the content.
