I never expected much from a Starmer government, but I’ve been shocked by just how bad this government is.
Also they keep talking about PIP like it’s an out of work benefit, when they know it isn’t.

I got my ESA migration letter just before Christmas, and finally got my first payment on the 8th of this month. I don't know what stage they're at in their changeover, but it's been really traumatic, and if I thought I was out of my mind already, I'm even worse now. 😭 Good luck with yours. 🤗

That won't even cover the rental for a single room in a HMO in most of the country. How does constant anxiety about making ends meet help someone recover from sickness or be able to look at ways to work that suit their disability, if that's even a possibility?

Many people are too disabled to work while also not qualifying for full PIP due to the bizarre specificity of PIP assessment - I should know, I’m one of them. I only got like 250 a month from PIP, and that was before they took me to tribunal over that meagre amount. Reforms might lose me it too.
