My all-time favorite film. Fun fact: I saw it for the first time as a sneak preview when all I knew was that it was a Spielberg-Lucas collaboration with Harrison Ford. Going in, I thought it was a space movie (Star Wars/Close Encounters of the Third Kind). Very confused when it opened in the jungle.

Have you ever seen soderbergh’s exercise - black and white, removed the sound, and replaces the score?

It’s so well shot and staged that the story is still totally legible even with just the visuals.
