I've been banging on about this for 5 years, but high indoor CO2 levels are correlated with high rates of airborne disease transmission, because many viruses *thrive* at high CO2 levels. This study finds that "the risk of airborne transmission of measles can be easily predicted using a CO2 meter."

I never gave up the air filter supplied to my classroom during COVID. I run it daily year round. Is this at all helpful or just helping me keep my anxiety about everything that runs through the school at bay?

I keep 4 classroom air filters running, and I open 8 windows in my wood shop that are connected to my classroom, even using a a fan to spread the fresh (cold, right now) air, and I’m wondering the same thing.

I bought an air purifier for my classroom (out of pocket) when we came back after lockdown. Since then I've gotten two at home & my kids all have them. I can't prove it made a difference, but I definitely had covid+ kids in class on multiple occasions, & I didn't catch it for two years.

There is now no shortage of data finding that the simple addition of an air purifier to a classroom makes a big difference in disease transmission. I'm baffled as to why every classroom isn't running 1–2 of them from at least December through February.
