I know a lot of naturist who never went on a naked hike. They stop with going to a club or resort or some even going to a beach. So good on you.

We've hiked nature trails at naturist campgrounds in the Carolinas, and it was lovely, but I cannot imagine being able to hike in an open-world setting. It looks wonderful.

Yes, I have similar experience with my naturism. Nude hikes and walks were (are) great moves in the process of normalization of nudity in my mind!

I've done quite a few nude hikes, now both up here in Scotland and on the Yorkshire moors. Never had a bad reaction from non-naturist so far.

Wild naturism is something anyone can do. It doesn't have to cost anything or involve special locations. Spontaneity is the key.

There were quite a few non-naturists about but as there was a small group of us we felt quite emboldened and free. It was a very liberating experience.

This is my main reason for being a naturist... The freedom of naked hiking is like nothing else. I go out with a local group but mostly go on my own. Never had any really bad encounters with other people whilst out.

I go on recon a few times before I try hiking nude somewhere on public land. Almost always I end up finally selecting a place that has just one parking area and is an out-and-back trail and I go on a weekday.

I'm lucky that I live near some of the largest national forest and wilderness areas in the United States, so I just have to drive out there. There are even hot springs that are legally clothing optional :3

I really enjoy nude hiking - when the weather is nice, anyway! I know some swear by it all year round, but I just can't do it. It is a big step, but again the rewards far outweigh the perceived risks. Certainly here in the UK, anyway.

We experienced that for the first time in 2023 when we decided to do a few rambles outside the usual confines of a club or naturist area. We came across a few none naturists. Some of which smiled and some just didn’t really react. It’s certainly liberating. 🙂

When clothed people cross paths sometimes we acknowledge each other sometimes not. On a remote walk I suppose a greeting is more likely. I overthink things, so if I met you on a walk I'd probably be thinking whether or not you'd welcome interaction. Less space more likely an Hi or thanks.

Similar experiences for me regarding other walkers, although I have stopped for a chat with at least two, one chap was curious and thought I was doing a one man protest, and a lady dog walker said I was very brave and that she had a naturist friend but she lacked the confidence to join in with her

We love to hike. Well me more than her. We have ran into non nudist at times but never has been an issue before. It’s just great to get out in the sun and be free with yourself.
