Short barrelled rifles are probably constitutionally protected. Grenades unlikely. More broadly though, this guy isn’t law abiding, but when people use those terms they simply mean someone who lawfully uses self defence and generally doesn’t commit commonly considered crime, e.g. murder, rape, theft

I feel like 1/2 the time this is just progs not understanding their political opponents. Pro life = not in favour of abortion, not every other position implicating lives. Law abiding = concept above, not strict compliance with every jot. Tough on crime = blue collar crime, not pornstar hush money.

My anecdotal experience is that in academic environments where progs are in the majority, they simply aren’t involuntarily exposed to the different ideas. This isn’t inherent to the ideology either, if cons were in the majority at unis the same thing would happen.
