I followed Oregonian coverage by Maxine Bernstein and OPB stories by Conrad Wilson as well (and remember the helicopters and tear gas)

Barr’s rhetoric struck me as similar to Trump’s

Also, I might say Trump is promising a crackdown but the salient point is rightist pretense of victimhood re speech, coupled with “proudly” trampling on freedom of expression
