1.2 GHz, is getting closer to a MW oven operating frequency. So absorption is a problem in both sample and cables = weaker signals if the probe is not well designed. So far, commercial ones need improvements.

Yep (we have one at the mag lab who made the probes for the instrument operating at 1.5 GHz)
