Sometimes the simplest explanation is best. Biden's concept of Israel seems to be frozen in 1948, and subsequent events - like it becoming the region's only nuclear power, and the super-hawk, pro-settler, apartheid expansionist state that Israel has become- hasn't changed his opinion one bit.
