They did a video in 2020 where one of the presenters’ fathers did a ride with him on an e-bike, and got to experience a ride with his son. It was an incredibly moving piece.
Because the sporty bike people organisation fucked UK over and said we didn't need 500w motors and the UK government used that as their source to reject 500w ebikes for cargo and commuting while the sport people don't Use ebikes
I think most of the hosts are former pro- or semi-pro cyclists and they have made jokes about ebikes being 'cheating'in the past, but it's something that they have acknowledged being wrong about and now they're pretty supportive of anything that gets people cycling. Maybe you saw an older video or 2
They did a video on the Serenity climb in Gran Canaria in 2018, where they talked about Dan Lloyd using an e road bike, and they've had a partner emtb channel for years.
The pivot to urbanism/utility is more recent, but they've long been positive on e bikes.
