The movies were based on the very real events that were happening at the time. But not enough people were paying attention back then and history never changes.

The Prequel Trilogy was hit and miss when it first came out for me. Over the years I've grown to like them a lot more. Can't say the same for Disney's Sequel Trilogy.

He even gave Disney scripts to his versions of the Sequel Trilogy. Sadly very liittle or any was used.

Also Carrie Fisher's passing really hurt the Trilogy.
