Yup. I think the only reasons Kamala lost worse than Hilary are 1. Kamala is also black 2. Biden's legacy 3. In 2016 people were not as insane as they are now. Fascism has escalated in the meanwhile. It was a much easier fight for Hilary than it is for Kamala.

Powerful women aren't a threat to the patriarchy on the basis of being powerful women. The Patriarchy is still good and strong in the UK because Thatcher was a horrible PM that ruined the country in ways that are still being felt today. Hell if anything she was great for the patriarchy.
