Oh great. I switched Advantage plans ONE WEEK before Luigi turned up, and then the shitstorm about them started and hasn't let up. (I didn't have much choice, Humana dropped their plans I was on and I had to find a similar plan in a hurry). I'm going to have to find another provider.

Advantage is a scam. The year before my father passed, they convinced him to switch from the Medicare he had to a « better » advantage plan. When he got sick and then needed to go to a SNF, they wouldn’t cover it. Thankfully he was still in a trial period so he could switch back !!

Look into getting a Medicaid attorney. They can help you keep ur house and get on Medicaid so u DONT deplete ur life savings cuz Medicare covers absolutely nothing long term .. start now as they have a 5 yr look back. U can put the house in a trust like place so the gov CANT take it.
