Watch the landing: no crosswind, clear runway. The CRJ series fly in all kinds of weather & have never had an incident that resulted in loss of life (including this one). They hit the tarmac hard, but the fuselage remained intact.

The plane make a hard landing and the Atc warn of windgust when they were clear to land. There was a crosswind the fliped the left wing to the right which tilt the right wing to touch the runway on motion and flip the aircraft over. Thank God all passengers make it out alife

The right gear collapsed, then the right wing hit the ground & sheared off. The left wing, still producing lift, resulted in a roll 2 the right. W/no right wing 2 stop it, plane rolled. Crosswind was w/in the plane's limit & ? is why no flare & hard landing. Preliminary TSB report s/b quick.

Agreed. Is one of the safest aircraft. Precaution is better. The ice conditions play a big factor in this accident (weather effect) life is not what we can gamble with. These are old aircraft built 20+ yrs ago. Can they use newer ones or put some rules in place as climate changes too. This is 2025.

Flight crew was top-notch professionals today.
Calm, confident and did exactly as they'd trained to respond in an emergency.
