I missed the meeting, so I'm also still out of the loop. In fact, the only person I know who follows F1 is an on-line friend originally from England. I still don't think it's a "thing" in America.

Pretty much. On par with nascar. Some people are really in to it while others not so much.

I could care less, F1 is just one more thing to add to the list of things, like the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL etc.

I would add that it was the perfect storm of Drive to Survive having their new season of content coming out right as COVID lockdowns pushed people to look for content. Drive to Survive was promoted heavily right around same time as Tiger King and Sourdough started to bore people.

Netflix did it for me. I casually watched over the years but really didn’t care much for racing as an American because nascar is about as exciting as budweiser. But after the Netflix series understood it more and and got to teams & drivers. Then with the ability to dvr practice, qualifying, & race
