With so many others clearly choosing to ignore the stated theme this year (which is becoming too common), it was refreshing to see Madonna absolutely nail it. Angela Bassett also clearly understood the theme and brought the pain. Loved it
Mutton dressed as lamb, 66 year old creaking internal body, bit of plastic on the outside to look 50. All the while America burns. All the Hollywood spiel of American heroism, values etc but when it's required right now, these plastic people have your attention. What a let down.
