I went to the store to get eggs this morning and, at the grocery store, found the refrigerated cases where the eggs are displayed to be nearly bare with prices per dozen ranging from 8.50 to 12.50. I swear, a few weeks ago I could find a store brand dozen eggs well under 4.00.
