I went to the store to get eggs this morning and, at the grocery store, found the refrigerated cases where the eggs are displayed to be nearly bare with prices per dozen ranging from 8.50 to 12.50. I swear, a few weeks ago I could find a store brand dozen eggs well under 4.00.

The National Debt declined from 110% of GDP at the end of WWll year-in-year-out to 31% of GDP at the beginning of the Reagan admin (1981) and since then has explored back to 110% of GDP. 90% of that explosion was accumulated under Republican presidents due mainly to their tax cutting obsession.

If Trump had promised before the election to make America the asshole nation of the world by bullying and invading our neighbors would he still have won the election. Funny how he wait until after to spring this on us.

At this point it seems clear that Canada would be well advised to avoid Ukraines mistake and begin immediately to develop nuclear weapons to protect itself against its rapacious southern neighbor. It would also be wise to enhance relations with alternative allies like China.
