I’m curious how many #Authors feel membership in American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) is valuable to their #Writing and worth the cost? I’m due for renewal and trying to decide if I should. #WritingCommunity

When I started as a journalist, I was told it was a very prestigious organization. They needed to see work samples to approve me. They have some good freelance resources, an annual conference with virtual & live pitch events, with agents & pub editors. but I’ve never used them.
